After Trump lost the 2020 election, Perry was “central to the planning of Jan. 6.”
The FBI even surveilled Perry for a month before seizing his personal cellphone (which revealed damning evidence of coordination to deny the election results). And when the Jan. 6 Committee subpoenaed Perry, he refused to testify. Yeah, that’s not suspicious at all.
Perry knew what he did was wrong; scared of the consequences of his illegal actions, he asked Trump for a presidential pardon in advance and spent $150,000 on legal fees.

Publicly, Perry urged for the release of the Epstein files, and even told a constituent, “I have requested that the DOJ … release the files."
But when he had the chance, Perry voted against releasing the Epstein files. That is, until Trump gave him permission four months later; it was only then that Perry finally voted to release the files. So predictable!

In 2025, Perry voted to repeal part of the ACA, causing 23,000 of his constituents to lose their health insurance. Then when his constituents voiced their concerns, Perry had them locked out in the cold and threatened with arrest.
And we haven’t even mentioned his attacks on reproductive healthcare, of which there are plenty: he cosponsored national abortion bans in 2017, 2019, 2021, and 2023.
