Sydney is a communcations know-it-all with big opinions. Fresh off of a victory with the Virginia House Democratic Caucus expanding their majority by an eye-popping 13 seats as Deputy Press Secretary, Sydney's focused on telling stories about the people who are doing the right thing - and shining a light on those up to no good.

Sydney's previous background includes comms work for the Pennsylvania House Democratic Campaign Committee, work in local government, nonprofits and journalism.

Sydney comes to Philadelphia by way of Pensacola, Florida and considers herself both a political refugee and a lifelong convert to the 'Go Birds' gospel.

Ellie will be graduating from the University of Pennsylvania in May 2026 with a degree in political history. She is originally from Charlottesville, VA and has worked on a variety of campaigns in Virginia and Pennsylvania. She was the President of the Penn Dems in 2024 and spent the fall organizing for Harris-Walz and the Pennsylvania coordinated campaign on campus. She also worked as a Senate intern in the summer of 2025. Ellie enjoys running, sushi, college basketball, and hating on Republicans.
